Hello all! This is all new to me and I am excited to finally have a blog! After months and months of wanting to do it I finally put aside the time to get it done.

Well here is an update for anyone who looks at this blog that I may not have seen in years or a while. Almost three years ago I met the love of my life, Scott Maloof, and we were married on October 21, 2006 in the Timpanogos Temple in American Fork, Utah. We have moved around quite a bit since we got married. The first place we live in was in Orem and it was tiny and had church carpet but it was fun for a while. Then we moved just up the way to a basment apartment that was much bigger and in a better area. Just recently last August we moved to Lehi and live in an apartment just off of main street.

In October of 2007 we found out that we would be expecting our first child! A BOY! Of course after 9 long and sick months we welcomed our sweet little baby boy, Braeden Duane Maloof into the world! He was born on July 5, 2008 weighing in at 8lbs 130z and he was 21 inches long! He was wide eyed and ready to see everything he could. He is now 8 months old and so much fun, the older he gets the more fun he gets and it is so amazing to watch him grow and learn. I love being a mother!!

I quit work once my son was born, I was working for Farmers Insurance, and became a stay at home Mom. I am grateful that I can stay home with him and watch him grow and share special moments with him. My husband, Scott, works in Taylorsville at the Old Spaghetti Factory as a Manager and he loves it! It is great to have a job that allows me to stay home and for us to have the things we need. I did get a part time job at the same restuarant in Orem as a server on the two days a week Scott is home, just to get out a little bit and have adult conversation.

Scott and I are primary teachers in our ward and teach the CTR 7 kids. We have mostly boys and one shy little girl and they are fun. We really enjoy our calling and love to teach the children and prepare them for baptism.

We recently found out that we may be transferred to Arizona for Scott's job and we are excited at the possibility! We won't find out for sure for a couple of months. If we get the opportunity we will welcome it with open arms! It will be hard to leave our families since they are all mostly here but it is good to grow and move on!

Well that is all I can think of for now but I will add posts as things come up! I look forward to sharing my life with all of you and hope all is well!
